When is the Gledhow Valley Green Fair?+
This year the Green Fair will be on Sunday 12 July, 11am - 4pm.
Where is the Green Fair held?+
The fair takes place along the length of Gledhow Valley Road which is traffic free for the day. The central hub is located on the junction of Gledhow Lane and Gledhow Valley Road.
Is entry to the Green Fair free?+
Yes! Entry is completely free for everyone. The fair is a gift to the local community — come along and enjoy the day.
Can I bring my dog?+
Dogs on leads are welcome in Gledhow Valley Woods and at the fair. Please be mindful of other visitors and clear up after your pet.
Is the Green Fair suitable for children?+
Absolutely — the Green Fair is a family-friendly event. There are children's activities, interactive stalls and plenty of space to roam and explore the woodland.
Is there parking available?+
We do provide designated disabled parking, but as a green fair, we love visitors to arrive by foot, cycle or public transport helping us keep the event as green as possible!

What is there to do at the fair?+
The fair features local stalls, food and drink, live music, children's activities, information stands on wildlife and conservation, and much more — all set in the beautiful Gledhow Valley Woods.

Who organises the Green Fair?+
The fair is organised by the Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods (FGVW), a registered charity dedicated to the conservation and celebration of Gledhow valley woods. We do this in partnership with other local groups including: CA Spaces, CANplan, Gledhow Valley Area Conservation Group (GVCAG) and Chapel Allerton Allotments and Gardens Association.
